Health and Safety Policy – Statement of Intent

At Inspired, we are committed to providing safe and healthy workplaces and to preventing work‑related injury and ill health. We achieve this by implementing, communicating, maintaining, and continually improving an effective Health & Safety Management System (HSMS), ensuring compliance with the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and alignment with the principles of ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.

In meeting our statutory duties, and so far as is reasonably practicable, Inspired will protect the health, safety and welfare of its employees at work, and safeguard others — including contractors, visitors, self‑employed persons and those who may be affected by our activities — from risks arising from our undertakings.

Inspired is committed to:

  • Providing and maintaining plant, equipment and systems of work that are safe and without risks to health.
  • Ensuring safe arrangements for the use, handling, storage and transportation of articles and substances.
  • Providing appropriate information, instruction, training and supervision to enable employees to work safely.
  • Maintaining places of work under our control in a condition that is safe and without risks to health, including safe means of access to and egress from such places; and
  • Providing a working environment that is safe, without risks to health, and supported by adequate welfare facilities and arrangements.

Inspired will comply with all applicable legal and other mandatory requirements and will proactively identify, manage and review health and safety risks and opportunities associated with its activities.

Top management accepts accountability for occupational health and safety performance and is committed to integrating health and safety considerations into strategic and operational decision‑making. Appropriate resources will be provided to achieve the intended outcomes of the HSMS, and this policy will be reviewed periodically to ensure it remains relevant to Inspired’s activities and continual improvement objectives.
