A day in the life

I’m an Account Manager in the Public Sector Services division. My job involves helping clients with any energy needs that they might have – this could range from matters that require immediate attention such as actioning incoming trade requests, to running tenders and placing supply agreements for multi-site portfolios.
My work is very varied – no two days are the same and I think that’s great for staying motivated!
I’ve recently become an Account Manager, having previously worked at PCMG. I’ve really enjoyed getting to know my clients and my new colleagues – not just in my team but also in the Energy Accounting team and the wider public sector division. I have also learnt a lot since joining my team and this has been one of the biggest positives.
I have a background in Physics so a job in Energy seemed to make good sense. I’ve stayed in the industry because it’s very interesting and always evolving!

I play in a local tennis league and enjoy other racket sports like table-tennis and pickleball, which I discovered in 2022. I’m also an amateur veg grower and last year I grew tomatoes, potatoes, asparagus, garlic, shallots, mangetout, squash and chillies.
